The Center for the Study of Parapsychology (CSP) was formed to bridge the wide chasm between the scientific research into parapsychology -- which deals mostly with bland laboratory experiments and cheating probability -- and the real world experience of psychic phenomena.  CSP's goals include:

1. Education:  CSP seeks to advance the knowledge of the general public regarding parapsychology and psychic phenomena.  The focus will be on both providing the public with layman reviews of ongoing research in parapsychology as well as documenting real world experiences.
   
2. Applied Research:  CSP's research efforts focus on the application of psi rather than simply proving it's existence.  Efforts focus on training and improving native abilities as well as learning more about why some people appear more "sensitive" to psi than others.
   
3. Communication:  CSP desires to create a forum whereby anyone who has had a psychic experience (experienced any type of ESP) can talk with others who have shared similar experiences as well as with scientists who are investigating the phenomena.  The goal is to provide a clearer understanding among both the general public and the scientific community as well as to assure those that have had experiences that they are not alone.

NOTE: At this time, CSP does not endorse any given psychic, but will inform members as to which psychics have scored well on our tests as well as provide member feedback on psychics they have tried.
